They are two childhood friends from Toulouse, France and share a passion for technology.
Pierre-Antoine has a PhD in Innovation Management and worked at Dassault Systèmes in Paris, a leading French 3D company. He’s the scientific mastermind of the team and has lots of hands-on experience with 3D printers. He’s our in-house technical expert and oversees the sites’ content.
Martin graduated from a top French business school and worked in Marketing at Google in New York. He’s the business guy and focuses on developing partnerships and growing the sites audience.
They started Aniwaa in October 2012, releasing the first public version of the site in June 2013, in English. We released the French version in January 2014 – mostly so our families would understand what we were working on. We couldn’t have done this without the help of Elsa: a PhD in Biophysics, she supervises all our product data and ensures we’re always accurate.
They currently operate out of Tokyo and Phnom Penh.
They are currently working on the v2 or our site and will expand to more languages in 2015, to best serve our users worldwide.
