Ciclop is an open source 3D laser scanner with a rotative platform. It has been developed from scratch by bq, and now it has been released to the community, under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.his 3D Scanner is composed by a structure of 3D printed parts and screws, a web cam, two line lasers and a turntable platform with a stepper motor.

Plastic parts are replaced with Injected Moulding Parts. They are more durable than Plastic parts.
Easy to scan objects:
Object space volume is greater than 5 x 5cm (space diameter and height).
Object space volume is smaller than 20.3 x 20.3cm.
Object weighing is less than 3kg.
Object is stable and immobile.
Difficult to scan objects:
Object space volume is smaller than 5 x 5 cm.
Transparent objects (glass, organic plastics and so on).
Luminous or strong reflective objects.
Very dark target or surface blur objects (such as plush toys).
